Marc Moglen is a marketing and branding strategist poised to become a thought leader in the domain of innovative marketing utilizing new media technologies. His background in user experience innovation puts him in a unique position to forge new paths in multi-modal marketing and sensorial branding strategy.
With an instinct to innovate, he designed a unique major at UC Berkeley in “Psychoacoustics and Music Perception” where he was a research apprentice on two year-long research and development teams. There he worked with programmers in two departments to enhance user engagement by in virtual spaces.
He became a researcher and lecturer at the University of Leipzig, Germany where he taught courses such as Interdisciplinary Musicology, Academic Argumentation, and Experimental Tonal Practice Working Group (at the Felix Mendelssohn Conservatory of Music and Theatre). His invited and conference presentations include “Music and Robotization,” “Parallels in the Trance Music Experience,” “Exploring New Musical Worlds,” and “Dialogue Around Hip-Hop”.
He was a video game tester at Nintendo of Europe before becoming a media technology entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, where he founded a B2B Music Branding firm TranceSoundtrack in the iconic RocketSpace co-working offices in San Francisco. He was invited to present on psychoacoustic relaxation at top-tier start-up incubator Founders Space. He consulted for market entry and investor pitching for a South Korean music distribution firm. Marc has pitched privately and at major conferences to VC’s on several occasions.
He is currently developing innovative marketing and branding solutions with an eye toward leveraging the latest in new media developments. A scholarship recipient at the Simon Business School (University of Rochester), he’s focusing on marketing management, brand strategy, data analytics, pricing, and consulting.
